In the words of Steve Jobs: “People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.”
My custom formula helps smaller brands with integrity to Focus. Adapted from my corporate days working with big, established brands and Simon Sinek’s “WHY” model, it’s an accelerated and collaborative formula, designed to give Clarity to creative founders and allow you to bring your excellent ideas to greater life.
My first task is to listen, but I’m not afraid to give straight answers. What I’m digging for is the nitty gritty, the heart of your business. I will always offer you a no-nonsense perspective.
We’ll kick off with a questionnaire which helps me understand you and what you love about your brand. We’ll then meet face-to-face to workshop your brand together for three juicy hours.
My role in our workshop is to step outside your brand to give you a clear understanding of who your brand is, articulate exactly what it is you offer, and how you do it - the three pillars which make you unique. I work to hone in on who your customer is and what your strengths and weaknesses are. We’ll zoom out and look into the future at where you want to be, and I’ll give you some bigger picture context by drawing on global cultural and consumer trends.
You’ll walk away with a one-page brand strategy and a strategic challenge, so you can immediately move forward with taking your business to the next level.
Once you’ve let my findings marinate for a little while, we’ll get to work on your bespoke, actionable and clear strategy.
At this point, a lot of consultants bail. But I stick around to work with you on what you need to make our plan happen. Whether it’s a couple of quick questions to sense check what you’re working on, an introduction to a specialist from my network or an intensive three-month program to keep you accountable.
WHAT THEY SAID
“Katie is the piece we didn't even know we were missing! Her intuition and ability to articulate our business has driven us forward in a clear and easy path. She is completely part of the Pure Pops team.”
- Alice Storey, co-founder of Pure Pops
"Meru Foods has found Katie Graham to be a great resource in refining our marketing strategy. The management team had a strong understanding of who Meru Foods was and who our customers were but we were having trouble condensing that knowledge into a coherent and executable strategy document. Katie worked with us to develop our strategy and is now helping us to execute elements of the strategy with excellent results. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Katie as our business grows.”
– Chris & Meagan de Bono, Meru Foods
